I am 66 years old now and retired. I have been married to the most wonderful woman for 20 years now. We live in Connecticut.
My passion is Aviation and everything to do with it.
My knowledge of aviation is extensive (but I don’t know everything and I am learning more every day). I subscribe to Flying and Flight Journal Magazines. I am a member of the American Aviation Historical Society (AAHS).
I have a Library that currently contains 813 books, and of those 320 are aviation related.
My wife and I are avid Formula 1 (F1) Fans.
I have been to the following ten (10) museum’s and they are incredible:
1.) Air Force Museum (National Museum of the United States Air Force) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
2.) National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. (twice)
3.) National Air & Space Museum – Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia
4.) San Diego Air & Space Museum
5.) New England Air Museum here in Connecticut (multiple times)
6.) Manston RAF Museum (RAF Manston History Museum) in Kent, England
7.) Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon
8.) Glenn H. Curtiss Aviation Museum in Hammondsport, New York
9.) Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City on Long Island
10.) Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Red Hook, New York
There are many more I would like to see.
And of course I have seen the Air Force Thunderberbirds and Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Teams at Air Shows. I have been to Otis Air Force Base in Cape Cod, Massachusetts (when I was younger and in the Civil Air Patrol) and to Homestead Air Force Base in Florida. I have also been to the Air Force Academy in Colorado (not as a student – but I did try to become one).
